Investors need a short-term and longer-term plan as rate hikes expectations change: Strategist

Karl Schamotta, Chief Market Strategist at Corpay, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss markets as investors prepare for a recession. Schamotta notes that as central bankers move more hawkishly, the odds of a recession increase and it could lead to rate hike expectations dropping in the middle of the curve. Schamotta advises investors to be defensive for now, but also have a longer-term plan as rate hikes could slow down in 2023.
