Emilio Butragueño and Corpay visit the Fundación Real Madrid's visual sensory school
Madrid, 22 June 2026 – The Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, Emilio Butragueño, alongside Pablo de la Vega del Prado and Roberto del Diego Monedero, co-directors of Corpay, visited the Fundación Real Madrid's sensory school for children and youth with visual impairments. This visit allowed representatives from the leading corporate payments company—which is also an official sponsor of Real Madrid—to experience firsthand the social sports project they have begun supporting this season as patrons of the Fundación.
The attendees had the unique opportunity to step into the students' shoes by participating in one of the session's activities: a penalty shootout while wearing blindfolds. Guided solely by the coach's instructions and the sound of an audible ball, the activity proved to be both fun and eye-opening for the Corpay team and Butragueño himself. Following the training session, Butragueño shared some warm words of admiration with everyone present.
Now in its second season, the visual sensory school offers high-quality, adapted sports to visually impaired children and youth in Spain. The project aims to foster their independence, self-esteem, and motivation to learn a sport like football.
This initiative is part of the global agreement signed last February between the Fundación Real Madrid and Corpay, which also funds six social sports projects in Trichy (India) benefiting 600 vulnerable children. Through this visit, Corpay consolidates its dual role as a supporter of Real Madrid, showcasing its strong social and charitable commitment alongside its commercial partnership.
