Canada's politicians will stay aligned with financial stability to avoid U.K.'s fate: Strategist

Karl Schamotta, chief market strategist at Corpay, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss his view on Canada's economic situation following the latest retail data. Schamotta says that the BoC could raise rates by either 50 or 75 basis points next week. He adds central bankers are looking at the real economy rather than how the stock market is reacting, and for this reason, investors need to be stock pickers.
